Orchestra Sizing Day!!!
Orchestra Sizing Day is a day incoming 5th graders can come to Vogel to play the four orchestra instruments and decide which one they like best! Think you want to play viola? Come on in and we will show you how to hold and play one! Can't decide between the cello or bass? You will have the opportunity to try both of the instruments out to see which one you like more! Or maybe you know without a doubt that you want to play violin! We will make sure to set you up with the correct size violin that fits you just right.
If you have any questions about orchestra, renting an instrument, or how classes work, please do not hesitate to contact me or to ask on Instrument Day!
Date: Monday, May 19
Time: 5:00 pm to 7:15 pm
Location: Vogel Intermediate School Orchestra Room
If you would like to RSVP for Orchestra Sizing Day, please follow this link:

Note: You do not have to RSVP to attend. Even if you decide to choose orchestra at the last minute, you can still come try out the different instruments!
Please feel free to come with any questions or concerns you may have regarding how orchestra / instrumentation works!
Please keep in mind that the Instrument Day is not mandatory to be in orchestra, but it is a helpful opportunity to try out an instrument and to know what size instrument your student will need before next school year. If neither of these dates / times works for you, we will also be holding a sizing day during the summer at our annual Orchestra Camp.
I look forward to meeting you!
Musically,
Ms. Boutte
